Connecting people all over Europe through culture, spirituality and science
This is the Charles Bridge in Prague, a city in Central Europe. A place where many bridges connect East and West across the Vltava, a river flowing from South to North.
Here Eurosophia organized in 1997 the first meeting of the Friends of Europe.
"Eurosophia is committed to build bridges between different people in order to develop the strength of the heart"
Marianne Veltman, one of the founders of Eurosophia
Eurosophia organizes meetings of the Friends of Europe and encourages the creation of Houses of Europe to enable people of alle ages and backgrounds to experience a European travelling year.
In addition to the care of the cultural traditions of the different people (stories, literature, arts, music, crafts, agriculture, gastronomy, festivals ...) the source and the objectives of Eurosophia are based on the spiritual science founded by Rudolf Steiner.
